Art. Jewelry/Artistic Jewelry Advertising.

I love jewelry. That's a well known fact amongst people who know me well.  I'm not sure which I enjoy more, looking at it or wearing it. Jewelry is a form of art to me and artistic advertising makes it all the more interesting.

WOW!

Reminds me of JAR.

(More) De Grisogono. May very well be my favorite jewelry designer.

Random Loves.

Random pics that caught my eye....and kept it.

I could stare at Birkins all day.

And Chanel.

A little Louis never hurts either.

'Elements' in Print

Flipping though W Magazine and come upon this image. It features Reed Krakoff's boar hair sandle and YSL's raffia clutch. Its the elements of the photo put together that strike me....

....If each element was standing alone, would it have the same impact?  I think no.

Crushing Chanel.

Lately I've developed quite a crush on Chanel.  Ok, ok, I confess. Several years ago, I had a hot and heavy love affair with the Cambon tote but we drifted apart as Louis V.was just too much man for the lovely Chanel.  But it seems I've done a 180 and the affair is starting all over again.

Chanel bags are just classic, iconic.  They will never go out of style.
Here, my ode to a lost love. So glad to have found you again.

My Newest Love.

I gave you a sneak peak of this yesterday.  Found her at a Eastbrook flea market in Montgomery, AL. I almost didn't buy her (yes its taken on a persona) but after I tried her on, I couldn't take her off.  I actually wore her for the rest of the trip to Gulf Shores and wore her again earlier this week.  I'm guessing she's probably from the 80's.  LOVE.

Alabama.

This time last week I was dedicating the week to 'travel.'  Well, I did travel last week and it was grand.  I traveled to Gulf Shores, Alabama to enjoy the nuptials of two really fabulous friends.  And of course, did a little shopping enroute :-)

Inspiration along the way.  Inspiration at destination.

Still drooling over this. Vintage flea market find in Montgomery, AL.   (You'll be seeing more of this!)

The beach house. It was named "Dream Big"

Its harder to catch a photo of an incoming wave than you'd think.  At least with a point and shoot.

Wedding Day

Cheers to M & T.
Wishing you everyday bliss.
