Reading.

For the past few days, I've been engrossed in a deliciously delectable book I picked up recently.

The book is worth it just for the sole purpose of staring at the wonderful vintage pictures Amandas included throughout the book.

Charlotte Rampling circa 1976

I Love Your Style_5
Audrey Hepburn, Sandra Paul (1969) and Francoise Hardy (1970)

In total, there are over 275 pages of some of the best fashion photos in one collective source- Anna Wintour, Biaca Jagger, Jackie O, the Olsens, Kate Moss, Twiggy and almost everyone else you think of as a style icon. Definitely a book we fashion obsessed should have on our shelves.

Green With Envy.

One of my favorite parts of the warm weather season is the bright vibrant greens in nature.....and fashion.

For the locals....(and net fashionistas).

Thought I'd give some love to my local favorites starting with....

Bella Boutique - 1264 N. High St. Columbus, OH 43201

I took my first trip here a few weeks ago and fell in love with several pieces of jewelry (statement necklaces, earrings) and super chic separates.  Unfortunately they don't have an online shop but I'm sure they take phone orders. Find them on Facebook and Twitter.

Rowe Boutique - 718 N. High Street, Columbus, OH 43215

What's now a city favorite started out as a pop-up shop only a few years ago. Today, its my go to for DVF, Halston Heritage and one of my faves, Dara Ettinger jewelry.

Bustown Modern - My online for trendy, brand name and no name vintage.

Everything from 70's jumpsuits, grecian dresses and furs, Bustown is the most convenient vintage shop for when I don't want to move from my couch.

Jane and Her Birkin

Everyone knows what a Birkin is (or they surely should), but I'd be willing to bet that a whole bunch of those 'everyone's' don't know the woman behind the famous bag. Meet Jane Birkin.

The woman who in 1984, complained aloud on a flight to one of the Dumas family members that she wished for a bag to hold all her 'stuff.'

Her wish was his command.

And so the holy grail of handbags was born.

Thank you Jane!
